With all its members still attending high school at the band's inception, the Vox Jaguars began playing shows around their hometown of Santa Cruz, CA , including opening stints for The Fiery Furnaces and Grand Ole Party which gained the attention of manager Adam Levin of Adult Supervision and from Anodyne Records, who put them in the studio with Ariel Rechtshaid, producer of We Are Scientists, Valencia and the Blood Arm, among others.

The band has more recently shared the stage with fast friends Scissors for Lefty and plan to tour this summer. Not keen to rest on their laurels, the band is already gearing up to record a follow-up full-length.
